When i first played, i never had this problem, where the clubface would either open or close during the swing, causing inconcistency in my ballstriking, and my golf grip in my left hand. What can i do about too much opening/closing of the clubface..

it sounds like you just need to practice doing it some on the driving range. try it with your wedges first and then irons and so forth.
i do a little drill before i hit where i rotate the club over and over in the air just so my wrists get the hang of it before my actual swing

Most golf clubs have at least one of the grooves painted white. I was wondering what kind of paint they use for that because I would like to repaint some of mine just to make the set look a little cleaner. Thanks!

Typically, the groove paint is an enamel. Clean the metal well before painting it.
